Welcome Back! How was everyone’s break?
Today we are beginning our new project: The Sankofa Project Most of the material for this will be on Google Classroom. Use the codes below to join the correct section of our class or accept my invitation in your email inbox. Other information can be found on the Project Documents or Home tabs of my DP. Along the way, email or come to me in person with questions if you are unable to find something you need. Humanities 1: p2fc3zd Humanities 2: shdofgl Humanities 3: ldy5572 Slideshow Slides #1-15 Let’s do a review of expectations for the semester and note taking guidelines! On the Google Classroom TNTSJ Note Taking Guide Document, there is space to type your notes from our history lessons in class. There are also printed versions of this guide that you may use instead. At the end of the week, there will be a required TEA Paragraph response to a question related to the material in our lessons. Taking notes will allow you to be more prepared to answer this question for credit. There will be at least three of these due throughout the project. The first will be a warm up for you to get a feel of my expectations. You can view the question now to frame your thinking as we take notes. This is the rubric that will be used to grade these responses. Homework: Read to page 84 by Monday 1/9 Finish Book by Wednesday 1/11 TEA Response to class history lectures Due Friday 1/13 (Google Classroom) Comments are closed.
