Starter #35: Where are you on your project? What have you accomplished and what is still remaining to be done? (Revisit the project checklist if needed) Considering where you are, what goals do you have for class today? What needs to be finished to have your essay and mask completed by the end of the week? This week you have today, Thursday and Friday as work time. There also may need to be some exhibition planning so keep this in mind when deciding how to use your work time. I have sent out an announcement about our exhibition. Let's look at it as a class! When your essay is completed, check it with the MLA requirements and my standards for feedback as well as the rubric and essay prompts to make sure you hit the mark for the requirements. After you have checked your work, submit it to Google Classroom for my review. I will grade it based on the rubric and you will have a chance to make additional changes over Thanksgiving break if you would like. Your Works Cited should look like the example below: Expectations for work time:
Classroom is quiet to let others focus; if you need to talk, speak quietly or at a whisper. Headphones with music is okay. If it is too loud, you will be asked to move seats or the assigned seats will be changed for the whole class. Ask 3 classmates and read the directions before bringing a question to the teacher. If art materials are used, they need to be cleaned up. This includes brushes rinsed, sinks and desks cleaned, and materials placed back in their homes. Sign up on the whiteboard to conference with me. Revisit the project checklist and your goals if you are unsure what to work on.
